CME picks Houston to lead revamped FX unit as EBS’s Ward exits
Move follows exchange group’s plans to closely integrate EBS with its FX futures business
CME Group has elevated Paul Houston to run its entire foreign exchange division across spot and derivatives, as it looks to further integrate its EBS Markets and FX futures businesses.
Houston, who formerly ran Deutsche Bank’s European FX prime brokerage business, takes over responsibilities from Jeff Ward, global head of EBS, who will leave in September.
Based in London, Houston has overseen CME’s FX futures and options businesses since 2016. The EBS cash FX products, including the primary
